Dear Friends and Prayer Partners thank you for your prayers and love to us and to Nepal. God has been opening doors for trainings in various churches of Nepal. The trainings are going very well and many people feel blessed by these trainings. Pastors and leaders are very excited by the trainings in their own churches and villages.
Training at Ananta Jiwan (Eternal Life) Church, Dhungeni, Makawanpur
One of my students of Makawanpur requested me to conduct training in his village and scheduled it on September 26-28, 2011. It was my first time to visit his village, which is a very remote area. We climbed hills to reach the village and since monsoon was not yet over the way was more challenging. The training went very well and the believers of village were happy and encouraged. I met the pastor of the church during the training; he was also very happy and encouraged by the meeting. He had made a temporary toilet for me during my stay there, it is because they do not use toilet in the village. I suggested him to make toilets in each home.
Spiritual Seminar at Dhobinipur Church, Rajapur, Bardiya
I was invited to speak in a spiritual conference in Pokhara on October 6; however, I had already given word to the friends of Bardiya about 3 months before the training. So according to the schedule, I went to Bardiya for training. Since October is a festival season, buses are overcrowded and it is not easy to travel. I bought a ticket for Nepalgunj on October 3, when I got into the bus it was too crowded. I managed to reach Nepalgunj in time and from there I had to take another bus for the bank of Bheri River. Since the bus was crowded I had to stand for nearly 4 hours in the bus till I reached the bank to Bheri River. From the bank I took a boat to cross the river and then got into another bus to reach Rajapur. I reached Rajapur on October 4 after traveling nearly 24 hours. The spiritual seminar was scheduled on October 5-7, 2011. At mid night on of October 4, while I was in deep sleep suddenly somebody touched me and woke me up. When I woke up nobody was there, I felt God touched me. I thanked him and prayed for the seminar. The seminar was very encouraging for the participants and for me as well. Many participants came from far away by bicycle and on foot. We had an excellent fellowship on October 8 with all believers
Training at Baptist Church, Chandragadhi,Jhapa
Jhapa Christian Community organized three days spiritual training on October 26-28, 2011. My student, Pastor Jagat Wagle, who is the president of the community of Jhapa district, invited me to teach in the training so I went there to provide the training. There are seven churches in this community. I got the privilege to go Bhadrapur Jhapa by airplane. Pastor Jagat Wagle, his family and his church members had known me, but the leaders and believers of other churches in the community did not know. After the training, leaders and pastors from other churches were very encouraged and told me that they want to organize similar training next time as well. On the first day of the training, there were 80 participants, on the second day 110 and on the third and final day, there were more than 130 participants. Praise the Lord! It is amazing to witness how God has been working in the lives of people through these trainings. Please continue to pray for coming trainings too.
